As far back as I can remember,

I spent weekends helping my dad with his business. It wasn’t flashy but it meant everything to him. He knew every customer’s name. I watched him work long hours and take real pride in what he built.
When he got older, he didn’t want to let go… but he didn’t have a plan and was ready to shut the doors on the very thing that shaped his identity and supported our family for decades. My dad and I were very different in many ways - but business became the language we spoke, and it was how we connected.
So I stepped in. My years of corporate experience did not prepare me for what I had to do to revive a struggling business - making payroll, making difficult calls, making EVERY call - the countless sacrifices I had to make... and yet, I found success and the experience found me wanting more.
